// Long time no see ^^; Well, I've been quite busy in my real life these days...
I made hard efforts, however, to spare a single day leave to visit CEATEC JAPAN 2010!
More than ten days having passed since then (sigh), so many detailed reports are available everywhere on the net... I know it's too late, yeah... anyway, I put some snapshots I took in the venue as a proof !
// "MMDAgent" from Nagoya Institute of Technology which attracted visitors' interest thru its introduction movie on Niconico Douga just before CEATEC ; So many people were around the booth! Well, I had just imagined - "At the booth there could be a surprise... it might be displayed using the latest 3D TV set with 3D spatial audio system ..." but, without such a gimic, Miku was just lovely in the screen.
// Next, the booth of Yamaha --- Argh! So many people around, again!! Ooo no puedo te ver, Miku... I couldn't take a foto of attendants in Miku costume, either.
// Cloth-like speakers in a row, new from Yamaha, located along a free area between two buildings. It's just amazing to hear a clear sound only when you are just in front of it. It's a miracle!
// Well, actually I took this pic in the morning when the venue was not so crowded.
// Wow Mimu was so cute in this close-up... She looked like sleeping .
//Demonstrations of HRP-4C ! Look at all these visitors around the booth!!!
// From a different angle : I was impressed so many visitors gathered to look at the demo.
// By the way I saw an attendant in Miku costume at Ikeriri - network services booth :-)

// The movie / link above is for the demonstration of VocaListener and VocaWathcer mentioned above.
// Digital Content EXPO followed last weekend! It introduced so many surprises related to Vocaloid! I was just amazed!! Just "iVOCALOID" and "VOCALOID-Board" were enough for me, but even more!!
Well, again, so many articles have been uploaded - while I couldn't go to the venue,I just watched a couple of recorded ustream movies at home --- Why can I write anything detailed?
// Anyway.... Mimu's dance live --- it's indeed a breath-taking spectacle.

// The researcher introduced a PC application that adjusted the fine balance of the human model automatically; First I thought it adjust the static balance, but then I learned it also took the moment into computation -- so the resulting motion would be dynamically stable.
Well, then sooner or later Mimu could be driven by motion data composed using "MikuMikuDance" by a hobbiest, just by prividing the PC application with a functionality of importing VMD --- using the source codes to be disclosed as a part of MMDAgent --- or using VMDconverter ---.
//The researcher said that the problem was the speed of the robot part movement; Hmm... many would agree. I just imagine bang-bang- control (or, impulse-based control) or something like that might work, than a very very powerful servo-motor systems might. Another idea would be that a dynamic feedback during the robot motion, to adjust a slight control error---.
Given all that, it is indeed impressive to see the structure and the performance of a human body.
